THIN FILM INTUMESCENT FIRE RESISTIVE COATINGS

INTRODUCTION

A/D Firefilm^®III and A/D Firefilm^®-S are decorative thin-film intumescent fire resistive coatings for structural steel They are intended for use at interior locations in buildings. These coating systems allow a painted steel appearance yet provide fire resistance ratings up to 3 hours! 

A/D Firefilm^®III is the third generation of our original water based intumescent fire resistive coating system.  The system consists of the structural steel, a compatible primer, the A/D Firefilm^®III intumescent layer and A/D COLORCOAT^® topcoat.

A/D Firefilm^®-S is a solvent based fire resistive coating system consisting of the structural steel, a compatible primer and optional topcoat. It is intended for use at interior locations in buildings.
